The Casino De Montreal Will Be Hosting Activities All December Long to Keep You in The Christmas Spirit

The holiday season is in full swing, and the Casino de Montreal is offering more than slot machines and blackjack tables to keep you entertained. For the whole month of December, the Casino will be hosting a variety of events that can keep you and your friends entertained without gambling a single dollar. Located on the Island of Notre Dame, where you can also find Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, which hosts Formula 1’s Canadian Grand Prix every year in June, is easily accessible whether you are driving or using public transport. It is the largest casino in Canada. The casino was opened on October 9, 1993, and is currently owned and operated by the Société des casinos du Québec, a subsidiary of Loto-Québec. Although there will not be Formula 1 cars flying past the casino at 300km per hour, you will be just as exhilarated watching some of the shows taking place inside the Casinos Cabaret.

Boogie Wonder Band

Dance! It is a Boogie Wonderland with the Boogie Wonder band! Now say that five times as fast as you can! Disco has not stopped grooving since the 70s, and you can join the iconic Boogie Wonder Band as they celebrate their 25th anniversary and taking part in more than three thousand shows across the globe. Performances will take place at the Casino’s Cabaret Starting on December 15th, with showtimes starting at 830pm. On December 15th,16th, and 17th, you can take advantage of a great offer that includes dinner with your concert tickets. Put on your bell bottoms and platform shoes, and get ready to boogie woogie all night long.

Noël Une Tradition En Chanson

Montreal’s famous Casino will be hosting its fifth annual Christmas celebration in style with multiple singers and musicians who will sing in English and French. Some of the artists performing include Joe Boucan, Shirley Theroux, Suriot, Martine St. Claire, and Luce Dufault.

Jeunesse D’hier Et D’aujourd’hui Fêtent Noël

Rediscover your childhood while exploring the present Christmas with the musical stylings of Joel Denis, Christine Chartrand, Suzie Villeneuve, and David Corriveau. Quebecois interpretations of many classic holiday songs are waiting for you at the Casino de Montreal.

Dance And Watch Spectacular Performances at The Bar Valet

Bar Valet in the Casino is yet another area where you can enjoy some thirst-quenching cocktails and even dance all night long. DJs bring up the tempo every night of the week and lets you unwind after a few tense rounds of Roulette. Bar Valet constantly has exceptional guest entertainers and DJs, and they host tribute bands every Sunday. In December, you can watch “Ol’ Blue Eyes” on December 11th, which pays tribute to the one and only Frank Sinatra. On December 18th you can watch a tribute to one of music’s most iconic groups, the Beatles, when the cover band “Replay” hits the stage.

Have A Drink or Two

The Casino de Montreal is inviting you over for some drinks at their Bar Le Roi any day of the week. In the month of December, Bar Le Roi will be serving cocktails inspired by the holidays and Quebecois-based liquors. Until December 17th, you can take part in the “Roi Des Aperos” (The Cocktail King”) Happy hour, which takes place every Friday and Saturday from 5-8 pm. 

The King of Cocktails will have different deals and showcase other drinks every weekend, starting with Martinis in the first week of December and following up a week later with Daiquiris, followed by absinthe, and ending with a cocktail extravaganza. There will also be DJs mixing the absolute best music to help you forget your long day at work or get that party feeling started. DJ Ludo Lacoste, DJ Montana, and DJ Daze will be the virtuosos working the turntables. 

Feeling Hungry?

After throwing back a couple of delicious Cocktails during happy hour, your stomach might be grumbling, and lucky for you, you do not have to leave the casino to have some tasty food. The Casino de Montreal has two restaurants on site Le Montreal and Le Pavillion 67. Le Montreal focuses on surf and turf and will quickly satisfy your carnivore needs. You will get the best seafood and grilled meats while enjoying an impressive view of the city of Montreal.

Le Pavillion 67 is the Casinos Buffet restaurant which opens at 5 pm every day with the exception of Sunday, that also offers a brunch starting at 10 am. The buffet covers all your culinary needs, and you can also watch the chefs cook your food before it is served to one and all. There will be a special Christmas Buffet on December 24th, 25th and the 1st of January.
