Start The New Year on The Right Foot with Laughter, Inspiration and Awe, Watching These Talented Artists Hit the Stage.

Place des Arts are legendary for hosting some fantastic musical concerts, but we must remember the countless theatre, dance, and comedy shows they host. Never lacking in quality, Place des Arts has hosted some amazing comedic legends, especially when the Just for Laughs festival comes around every July. In January, Quebecois comedians take center stage and only aim to make you laugh and forget everyday problems for at least an hour.

Montreal does not have Broadway, where theatre and musicals are hosted, but Place des Arts can easily fill that role. Place des arts will also have mesmerizing dance performances featuring incredible dancers and beautiful musical scores to keep you thoroughly entertained. In January, you will have plenty of opportunities to beat the winter blues watching any of these shows and an easy date night idea that can be coupled with a nice meal at a Montreal Restaurant or hitting up a local bar for a drink after the show. Here is what is coming up in January at the Place des Arts.
