Almost four years later, the All-star game can finally take place in our city and showcase all the young talent that the AHL holds.

Forty-year-old boxer Jean Pascale is on a mission to claim the IBF Light Heavyweight Championship, but he will have to go through the much younger, 25-year-old Michael Eifert from Germany. Both boxers are fighting for the opportunity to face the current champ, Russian Canadian Artur Beterbiev.

Pascale, who has faced some issues in the last couple of months, is happy to be in top shape and wants to win this elimination bout for himself and the home crowd. Pascale, who is ranked 9th in the division, has a career record of 44 wins, 20 by Knock-out, and six losses. His younger opponent has a much greener yet strong record with 11 wins and one loss.

Pascale will have the full support of his hometown fans and have to prove that age is just a number and that he can take down the young and up-and-coming German. Eifert, who is the underdog heading into the fight, see’s this as a monumental opportunity to prove that he is the real deal by beating the more experienced Pascale and securing his chance at the IBF belt in the future.
