Montreal’s Restaurants of the Week: Montréal en Lumière 2025

From February 20 to March 9, 2025, Montréal en Lumière returns, transforming the city into a haven for food enthusiasts. This year’s festival spotlights the remarkable contributions of women in the culinary world, featuring over 70% female chefs, winemakers, and pastry artists from 34 countries, including a strong representation from Canada and Quebec. Bonnes Tables Air France

A highlight of the festival is the Bonnes Tables Air France, where a selection of esteemed restaurants presents special gastronomic experiences. This initiative offers festival-goers the opportunity to indulge in exclusive menus crafted in collaboration with international and local culinary talents. Featured Culinary Events

  • Annette x Stéphanie Audet: On February 21 and 22, Annette bar à vin welcomes chef Stéphanie Audet, co-owner of Lisbon’s renowned Senhor Uva. Together with Marc-André Jetté, they will present a five-course menu inspired by the flavors of Senhor Uva.
  • La Lune x Alexandra Roy & Charles Provencher-Proulx: On March 1, Rôtisserie La Lune hosts chefs Alexandra Roy and Charles Provencher-Proulx from Quebec City’s Melba, alongside Charles-Eric Boutet, Marc-Olivier Frappier, and Jessica Noel, for a convivial five-course dinner priced at $95 per person.
  • Okeya x Omakase Montréal en Lumière: Experience an exclusive Japanese culinary journey with Okeya Kyujiro, offering a seasonal menu complemented by wine pairings from Japan’s Grace Wine.

Brunches en Lumière and Afternoon Tea

The festival also features Brunches en Lumière on March 2, catering to late risers with delectable offerings at 25 restaurants citywide. A new addition this year, the Village Gourmand, presented in collaboration with Mordu, serves as the festival’s culinary hub. Celebrate Quebec’s rich culinary heritage at Janette Bertrand’s Classics Reimagined at 9-4-10, happening on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at the Bell Centre. As part of the Montréal en Lumière festival, this extraordinary dining experience will see renowned chefs Yves Lowe, Myriam Pelletier, and Danny St-Pierre reinvent some of Janette Bertrand’s most iconic dishes, paying homage to her profound influence on Quebecois culture.
