🍱 Restaurant of the Week: Rouge Tomate
📍 Address: 210 Rue Principale, Saint-Sauveur, QC J0R 1R0
Located in the heart of Saint-Sauveur, Rouge Tomate is a charming daytime café and evening wine bar that perfectly captures the spirit of the Laurentians. Half wine bar, half fine foods boutique, the space blends a laid-back atmosphere with thoughtful, seasonal cuisine in a bright and inviting setting. It is a must-visit destination for anyone exploring the region.
Atmosphere & Décor
Born and raised in the Laurentians, owner Juliet Zacharkiw wanted to bring a touch of Montreal café-restaurant culture back home. By taking over her mother’s former gourmet shop, she reimagined the space in her own image: a warm, versatile spot where you can work with a coffee in the morning, enjoy a delicious lunch, or share a few bottles with friends come evening.
The interior, designed in collaboration with M Architecture, reflects the heart of the project: warm, airy, and fluid. Two terraces offer outdoor seating, and the entire setting evolves with the day. As Juliet says, “I created a place where a café and a wine bar truly coexist.”
