The winter blues are in full swing in February but lucky for you, there are some great concerts to bring your spirits back up despite the mountains of snow everywhere! Across numerous venues across Montreal, some big-name artists are taking the stage, as well as some lesser-known acts that are worthy of your attention. 

You might be hesitant to travel downtown and other busier areas of Montréal where these venues are located because of winter. Still, by using public transportation, you can skip the headaches of finding parking or digging out your snowed-in cars. Valentine’s Day is also a massive event in February and bringing your girlfriend or boyfriend to any of these shows is a wonderful way to express your love. 

To complete the night, book with, and they will quickly and easily set up your entire evening, including restaurant and hotel reservations. Here are some of the best concerts to hit Montreal in February in Montreal…  


Date and Time: Wednesday, February 1st, 7:00 pm

Venue: Café Campus

Genre: Rock, Alternative


Canadian rock band takes over Café Campus, which will surely be sold out before you know it. Based out of Toronto, Sloan has released thirteen albums and I one of the top-selling Canadian bands in history. Watching Sloan at a smaller venue like Café Campus is a terrific opportunity to get up close in personal with the band and feel every musical note flow through your body. 

Alicia Moffet with Ryland James

Date and Time: Thursday, February 2nd 8:00 pm (Montreal); February 18th, 8:00 pm (Laval)

Venue: MTELUS, Salle Andre-Mathieu

Genre: Pop, R&B


Alicia Moffet will bring her stunning voice and musical prowess to MTLELUS in one of the hottest shows to kick off in February. This twenty-four-year-old budding star is turning heads everywhere she is performing, and her career is only starting to take off. Check out her blunt song Lullaby, and you will fall in love with her in no time. 

Matthew Good with Carly Thomas 

Date and Time: Friday, February 10, 8:00 pm

Venue: Corona Theatre

Genre: Folk, Rock, Indie


Canadian Icon Matthew good is packing his acoustic guitar and distinct voice to perform at the Corona Theatre in Montreal. Formerly performing with the Matthew Good Band, Good has gone solo and has toured around the world with his latest songs. 

Vance Joy with Jack Botts “In our Sweet Time Tour 2023”

Date and Time: Friday, February 10th, 8:00 pm


Genre: Alternative, Indie


Aussie Vance Joy has been serenading his adoring fans since 2013 and proving that even Australian Rules Footballers have hearts of gold too. Joy will be promoting his third studio album, “In Our Own Sweet Time,” and play his older hit songs. A perfect concert to sway and hold someone you love close to you.

There is something about the energy that builds and explodes when you listen to choir music and Le Studio TD in Montreal Choir! Choir! Choir! will raise the roof. The significant aspect of this Choir ensemble is that you are invited to join them in singing the songs they will b performing; in fact, it is a part of the show. Truly an interactive experience that unites everyone in attendance through music, creating a spiritual experience you will remember. 

Samia with Tommy Lefroy “Honey Tour”

Samia is relatively new to the music scene starting in 2017 in Los Angeles California. Samia plays guitar and writes all her own songs that tell the struggles of young adulthood and being a woman in modern society. Saima’s latest album Honey takes center stage alongside her catchy voice and honest lyrics. 

Forest Blakk with Peter Raffoul

Date and Time: Friday, February 17th, 7:30 pm

Venue: Bar le “Ritz” PDB

Genre: Pop


In his first headlining tour Forest Blakk will have to prove that he is more than a one hit wonder but rather a complete musical artist. On Black’s Facebook page, he writes, “I wrote a song. It went platinum…I have no clue what I am doing,” which only proves how lighthearted and modes he is. Forest Blakk is much more talented than he proclaims and will give you a great show to enjoy. 

Central Cee

Date and Time: Saturday, February 18th, 8:00 pm

Venue: Corona Theatre

Genre: Hip Hop, Rap, Trap 


Central Cee is a British rapper who has climbed up the billboard ranks in the United Kingdom. Traveling across the Atlantic, Central Cee hopes to show off his British Hip Hop skills that are heavily influenced by trap music. 

Stephen Sanchez with CeCe Coakley 

Date and Time: Monday, February 20th, 7:30 pm 

Venue: Le Studio TD

Genre: Pop, Rock, Folk


Stephen Sanchez is only at the very start of what can become an up-and-coming music career that was launched with his most famous song to date, “Until I Found You.” Sanchez’s lyrics are emotionally driven and can pull your heartstrings with every beat. A lovely performance that is included in a romantic Valentine’s night out in Montreal. 

Bryce Vine Serotonin Tour

America Rapper Bryce Vine is heading to the Corona Theatre to share his musical stylings, his latest albums, and his newest single, “Nobody,” with you. Bryce Vine’s music is catchy and sure to have your head bobbing to his rhythms and fun lyrics. 

Thomas Rhett with Jordan Davis and Kameron Marlowe’s “Bring the Bar to You Tour”

Thomas Rhett is bringing the bar to you, and get ready to throw back a nice cold beer while listening to this famous country singer. Rhett has just released his latest album titled: Where We Started,” and you will be sure you will hear these fresh songs throughout the concert. Montreal will be the first Canadian city to host the start of his Canadian tour, and we are sure he will never forget our incredible city.
