No Need to Go to Bed Hungry After a Night of Partying in Montreal

Most restaurants in Montreal close their kitchens well before midnight, but that does not mean there are not plenty of options to help satiate the grumblings in your stomach for some food. Hunger knows no bounds, and getting the urge for a late-night bite after a night out can be easily satisfied by visiting our favorite late-night restaurants. You have the easy option of hitting up any random Mcdonald’s, A&W, or any other major fast-food chain. Still, they can never compete with the quality of food our recommendations offer.

Quality Matters

As a former bartender in Montreal’s nightlife for more than a decade I have visited my share of late-night restaurants, and I can, promise you that they are not all created equal! If you want a greasy meal, make it an excellent greasy meal. I have had the infamous 2$ Asian style noodles in the wee hours of the night, and yes, there was instant gratification; it tasted great, but a couple of hours later, the experience in my washroom was not so pleasant.

Our suggestions for late-night eateries offer quality and do not get me wrong, they are not always the healthiest option, but at least you will wake up a little less hungover rather than feeling worse. Every weekend is an opportunity to discover a new spot to eat and a new bar or club to enjoy.

Café Milano’s is yet another Montreal establishment woven into our city’s fabric, serving endless amounts of espresso and sandwiches 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Having their classic sausage or grilled chicken sandwich is the way to go, and if you want something lighter, you can always have their amazing salads served with olives, marinated eggplants, and the protein of your choice.
